Your safety is the most important

Any mobile navigation or GPS application only shows indications on a map and these will never replace the knowledge of an experienced guide in case of finding a closed, blocked or lack of maintenance road that does not allow you to follow the map. If you encounter this type of situation, it is recommended not to follow the route and come back the way we have followed.

You must have a minimum of skill and ability to correctly configure the different functions of your own device (GPS, screen brightness…)

It is highly recommended to have an external power bank full charged as an energy reserve, in case your mobile phone empties the internal battery when you activate the GPS for a long time.

Before starting any route, read and carefully review the characteristics: duration, distance, difficulty… and decide if you are qualified to do it. If you have doubts, the best decision is to choose a lower level/easier route or request the services of an expert guide.

San Lorenzo

San Lorenzo, in San Juan, preserves the magic of the less exploited Ibiza. Visit the Church, the town of Balàfia and eat in one of its famous restaurants

This beautiful enclave, located to the northeast of Ibiza, still preserves the attractiveness of the inland areas of the island, as well as a sample of the most representative typical Ibizan architecture. As soon as you arrive at this place, you will understand that it is part of that ‘other Ibiza’ that is talked about so much, that of traditions and tranquility, that of excessive charm.

In the center of the town you will only find its beautiful church, which was built in 1785 following the lines of the rest of the typical parishes on the island.

Nearby you can see the ‘Font de Balàfia’ old town of Balàfia, a few meters from the center. It is made up of five country houses and two defense towers that were once used to protect themselves from attacks by Turkish pirates.

Around San Lorenzo you can enjoy a good number of restaurants specialized in Ibizan food. It probably has some of the best and best known by both residents and tourists who return to their tables year after year.
