Las Dalias, Sant Carlos and Cala Boix

To complete this route we recommend starting early in the morning. Booking the bikes in advance is the best option for a one day activity.

If we travel with children we will also cross different parks where they can play.

Before reaching the town of San Carlos we find the Dalias market, which was born on Valentine’s Day in 1985 and has grown in number of stalls to more than 200 today. On a Saturday in August, Las Dalias can gather around 20,000 visitors

After the visit we will quickly arrive at San Carlos, with its church, which preserves one of the most outstanding columned «porxos» in the island. From this point, you can discover other ethnographic treasures of Ibiza, such as the Font de Peralta, a stone fountain dating back to the beginning of the 17th century; and the Ca n’Andreu Trull Museum, an exceptional example of traditional rural housing in Ibiza that preserves, among other elements, an 18th-century mill.

The next stop is Cala Boix, with extremely fine and dark sand of natural origin, both the beach and the bottom. This ideal place for lovers of tranquility and beautiful landscapes, with a very interesting typical gastronomy offer. The best place to eat and rest.

Back to Santa Eulalia we will cross through Cala Mastella and Cala Nova.

The first cove is of great scenic beauty and a marine atmosphere, with very beautiful places on its rocky bottom to discover while snorkeling. The smoothness in the unevenness of the bottom makes it very safe for the bathroom.

Cala Nova is flanked by two rocky and abrupt ledges that close it off and give it a peculiar landscape charm. When the wind blows, it is one of the most popular beaches on the island for surfing.

Your safety is the most important

Any mobile navigation or GPS application only shows indications on a map and these will never replace the knowledge of an experienced guide in case of finding a closed, blocked or lack of maintenance road that does not allow you to follow the map. If you encounter this type of situation, it is recommended not to follow the route and come back the way we have followed.

You must have a minimum of skill and ability to correctly configure the different functions of your own device (GPS, screen brightness, etc.)

It is highly recommended to have an external power bank full charged as an energy reserve, in case your mobile phone empties the internal battery when you activate the GPS for a long time.

Before starting any route, read and carefully review the characteristics: duration, distance, difficulty … and decide if you are qualified to do it. If you have doubts, the best decision is to choose a lower level or easier route or request the services of an expert guide.
